Day 1
Beginning of the tour
Departures: subject to availability
Pick up: approximately 10am (the pick-up time is confirmed 1 day before the tour) and the the transfer takes about 1 hour from your hotels located in the Miraflores or San Isidro districts to Pachacamac.
At arrival your guide will explain about this splendid Citadel that was the sanctuary of the God Pachacamac, creator of the universe for the ancient Andean culture.
The citadel includes temples, pyramids and palaces. Highlights such as the temple of the Sun, the temple of Pachacamac, the “Acllahuasi” or the palace of the Virgins of the Sun, among others. The entire place was considered sacred and part of the mystical axis of the world. Please note that this package does not include the visit to the site museum.
After this visit, we will continue our journey arriving at the Hacienda “De Paso” located in the Lurín valley, where we will enjoy a show of the Paso Horse, which is a jewel of Peruvian culture that emerged from the colonial era and It is still appreciated today.
What the Peruvian Paso horse is most known for is its completely natural four-beat lateral gait called Paso Llano or Paso Castellano. This is a distinctive movement in which the horse moves first its hind leg and then its front leg, thus breaking the amble into two parts and creating a four-beat lateral step.
In its beautiful gardens, a rider who may be a woman calling her Amazona or a Chalan if she is a man, will introduce you to the world of the peruvian paso horse, telling you the story of this noble animal.

What you need to know
- The rate includes pick up from hotels in Miraflores and San Isidro. Ask for the fee for pick ups in hotels located in different districts.
- Minimum purchase 02 passengers.
- Minimum reservation until 24 hours before the tour.
- Bring hiking shoes, seasonal clothing, sun block, sunglasses, hat or cap, personal documents, extra money for shopping during the tour.
- Rates valid for regular dates, does not apply for holidays or high season.
- Prices apply for nationals and foreigners.
- Departure times change on holidays and festive dates.
- Pick up times are referential. Pick up time is confirmed the night before the tour, between 6 and 8 p.m., when the schedule closes.
- Tours to Pachacamac with less than 5 passengers do not leave with a guide from the pick-up point, since the guide will be waiting for them at the sanctuary.
- The passenger must wait in the lobby from the indicated time, the tolerance is 5 minutes, after that time the transportation will continue its itinerary. If the passenger is not ready, he/she must reach by his/her own means the transportation at the next point, whether it is a hotel or the first tourist attraction to be visited.
