Highlights

Itinerary

1
Day 1

Nauta and Botanical Walk

You will be picked up from your hotel or from the airport to start the transfer to Iquitos – Nauta in a Sprinter trip of approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. Arriving in Nauta we will transfer by river boat to our camp.

Upon arrival, lunch will be provided (included) and then we will rest for a few minutes, After the break we will be ready for the first excursion

We will start the botanical walk, enter the jungle and meet different plants with their healing value (used by local residents and shamans), the excursion is experiential, the difficulty is easy.

We will return to the camp to prepare for dinner (included),

After dinner our Guide will be ready waiting for you to tell stories of the jungle, do not miss this opportunity to know a little more about the legends in the Amazon.

Then we will spend the night in the camps.

Day 2

Jungle Adventure

Very early before breakfast we will take the boat to go to one of the tributaries and be able to contemplate the sunrise from the river, and then begin to enjoy the song of the birds in their natural habitat.

We will proceed to have breakfast at the scheduled time (included), and then have the possibility of doing artisanal fishing for the famous “Piranha” fish feared by the inhabitants of the Amazon.

We will return to the camp for lunch (included) and then we will have a break  for a few minutes.

After the break we go to a tributary to go in search of primates and mammals in their natural habitat, walking if necessary.

Upon return we will be able to observe the “Cayman or Lizard” where excellent photos can be taken around the area where we will be.

We will return to the camp to have the exquisite dinner (Included), then we will spend the night.

Day 3

Gray and Pink Dolphins + "Infiernillo"

We will start the day with a rich breakfast (included) and then navigate the Nauta Caño river to go to one of the tributaries and begin the search for River Otters, a species of animal in danger of extinction.

Then we will go in search of the gray and pink dolphins, once located we will have the possibility to swim with them (it is not mandatory to do so if you do not wish).

We go to the camp for our lunch (included), then we will rest for a few minutes.

After the break, we go to a tributary called “Infiernillo”, to go in search of mammals and reptiles in their natural habitat, here you can take incredible photos!

We will return to the camp to rest and go on to taste dinner (included).

Day 4

Las Palmas Community Walk and Reserve

We will start the day with our breakfast (included) and then go on a walk that is cared for by the residents of the “Las Palmas” community, here we will have the possibility of meeting emblematic birds of the Amazon.

We will return to the Native Las Palmas community to share experiences with them, after this sharing we will proceed to have our lunch at the home of the resident designated by the community (lunch included).

We will return to Nauta-Iquitos to your hotel or airport, the transfer will be prior coordination.
