Day 1
Full Day at the Colca Canyon
03:00am – Pick up from hotels in downtown Arequipa. Departure from Arequipa to Chivay.
After 03 1/2 hours of travel we will arrive to the town of Chivay where we will have our breakfast included. Then we will move to the Mirador de la Cruz del Condor, which is 30 minutes away, is the observation point of the Colca Canyon and the spectacular flight of the Condor. At this point we will be an average of 45 minutes to observe the beauty of the Colca Canyon.
On the way back we will stop at the viewpoints of the area from where we will observe the impressive terraces of the valley and in the village of Maca, where we will see the church and optional taste drinks of the area as the Colca Sour, made from local products (sancayo).
Before lunch we will enjoy a relaxing bath in the Yanque Hot Springs (optional entrance) whose thermo-medicinal waters range from 35º C to 38º C temperature in the pools.
12:30pm – Lunch in Chivay (buffet).
We start our way back to Arequipa and during the trip we will stop at the Mirador de los Volcanes, which is also the highest point of the road (4910 meters above sea level) from where we will appreciate a great part of the western mountain range. Then we will make a short stop also in the National Reserve where you can appreciate the South American camelids (alpacas) grazing freely in the area.
05:00pm – We will arrive to the city of Arequipa and we will leave you very close to the main square of Arequipa.

What you need to know
- Children up to 3 years old do not pay, they share full service with parents or accompanying adults, they sit on the parents’ leg.
