Day 1

Maras & Moray with Picnic

6:30 a.m. – Departure from Cusco

We will start the tour by picking you up from your hotel, provided you are in the city center, between 6:00 a.m. and 6:30 a.m. If your accommodation is outside the downtown area, we can coordinate a convenient meeting point.

8:00 a.m. approx. – Chinchero Textile Center

Our first stop will be in Chinchero, a charming village known for its rich textile heritage. We will visit a specialized center where we will learn about traditional weaving techniques and discover the fascinating local customs that make this place a cultural treasure of Cusco and Peru.

10:00 a.m. approx. – Andenes de Moray

Then, we will head to Moray, an archaeological site that the Incas used for agricultural experiments. This place is distinguished by its impressive circular terraces, designed to create microclimates and allow the cultivation of various plants.

11:30 a.m. approx. – Maras Salt Mines

We will continue to the iconic Maras Salt Mines, located at 3,380 meters above sea level. This extraordinary place is home to thousands of salt wells, handcrafted since Inca times. Here you can admire the incredible panoramic views and immerse yourself in the history of this unique site.

12:30 p.m. approx. – Picnic with Llamas and Alpacas

After exploring these wonders, we will enjoy a private picnic in a spectacular natural setting. We will settle in a special place with a privileged view of Apu Veronica, while we savor a delicious selection of food such as cheese boards, artisan breads, seasonal fruits, natural juices, coffee, infusions and wine to toast this unique experience, in addition, we will share this moment in the company of llamas and alpacas, adding an authentic and special touch to our day.

3:00 p.m. approx. – Return to Cusco

We will finish our tour and return to Cusco, culminating a day full of culture, history and unforgettable moments.
