Itinerary

Day 1

City Tour in Ica

We will begin with a visit to La Casa de las Tejas. The tour is divided into two stages: first, we will see the facilities of the place and a brief explanation about the process of making tiles and chocotejas. Second, we will start the workshop where we will make our own tile or chocoteja.

Then, we will go to the Tacama vineyard, the tour will begin with a projection that tells the history of Tacama; then, we will know the classic winery, the modern plant and the process of making wine and pisco. Tasting of 04 products in the traditional space. Duration: 50 minutes

Then, we will go to “Nietto” an artisan wine cellar where they will explain the process of elaboration of our flagship drink “pisco” and we will learn to taste it and its derivatives (pisco creams and macerates).

Free time for lunch at the passenger’s expense.

Later, we will visit the Cachiche Theme Park where we will discover the legend of the Witch of Cachiche and its tourist center. We will also visit the Seven Headed Palm Tree. To close the day, we will go to the Huacachina Lagoon where we will spend some time to walk around the lagoon and take pictures.

Finally, the transportation will take you to your hotel, bus station or Plaza de Armas.

What you need to know

  • Bring sunscreen and mosquito repellent, hat, sunglasses and video and/or photo camera.
  • Every Monday the Tacama vineyard is closed, in that case, we will choose a vineyard of similar category.
  • All passengers, without exception, must travel with their physical and valid identity documents.
  • The company is not responsible for the loss or theft of your personal belongings, so we ask you to always have them under your safekeeping.
  • If any of the passengers do not attend the tour, they will lose the right to the tour and there will be no reimbursement or rescheduling.
  • The tours are subject to changes in the itinerary or even postponements (duly informed), due to factors beyond the company’s control, such as: COVID-19 pandemic, weather changes, sporting events, strikes or any other event of the same nature. In such a case, the Operator may carry out a contingency plan with an alternative tour.
