Day 1
City Tour in Ica
We start the day by picking up passengers from their hotels, whether in downtown Ica, Huacachina, or Residencial La Angostura. We begin with a panoramic view of the city’s main landmarks: the historic Plaza de Armas, the imposing Casona del Marqués, and the majestic Iglesia del Señor de Luren.
A walk where architecture and local stories welcome us to this warm and vibrant land. Next, we head to the famous Casa de las Tejas. There, we will not only learn about the artisanal process of making Ica’s most emblematic sweets, but we will also enjoy a fun and participatory experience: each visitor will be able to make their own teja or chocoteja in a workshop that combines tradition, flavor, and a touch of mischief.
The trip continues to a renowned local winery, Culturpisco, known for proudly preserving the pisco tradition of southern Peru. In this space surrounded by vineyards, visitors will be welcomed with a cocktail and enjoy a traditional lunch.
Then, we will take a guided tour of the facilities to learn about the pisco-making process, from grape to glass. To end the day on a high note, we will head to the legendary Huacachina Lagoon. There, among palm trees, dunes, and the green mirror of the water, visitors can stroll, take photos, and enjoy one of the most enchanting landscapes in Peru. The atmosphere is perfect for relaxing and letting the sunset paint the last memories of the day.
Finally, transportation will take passengers back to their hotel, bus station, or the Plaza de Armas, according to their preference. This City Tour of Ica is not just a sightseeing tour: it is an experience full of flavor, history, and memorable moments.
Ideal for those seeking to connect with the essence of a city that will remain in their hearts!
