Cooking Class
We will meet in Cusco’s main square to begin the adventure.
THE STEPS
In just 03 hours you will engage in our six step course including topics such as the history of Peruvian gastronomy, concepts of the kitchen, tropical fruit and Andean super food tasting, Pisco tasting, Pisco Sour and Chilcano de Pisco preparation and finally the preparing and cooking of two of Peru’s most emblematic dishes: Ceviche and Lomo Saltado with Alpaca.
In addition, the chefs from our restaurant UCHU will spoil you with criolle and Novo-Andina small bite appetizers such as cuy (guinea pig), Alpaca, amongst others.
STEP 1: “UNVEILING PERUVIAN FLAVORS: A CULINARY LOVE AFFAIR”
Dive into the vibrant world of Peruvian cuisine with our interactive cooking class Cusco! Our talented Chef will introduce you to Peru’s diverse geography, which shapes its rich culinary heritage. STEP 2: “IMMERSING IN THE PACHAMAMA EXPERIENCE”
In our interpretive center “The Market”, experience the vibrant flavors of Peru in a unique, organized, and safe setting. Recreating the San Pedro Market atmosphere, explore diverse Peruvian products, from colorful potatoes and aji peppers to essential corn and quinoa. Immerse yourself in this cooking class Cusco by seeing, touching, and smelling these culinary treasures.

In our final step of our Peruvian cooking class, we will prepared one of Peru’s most famous dishes, Lomo Saltado. Learn to combine tender beef, sautéed vegetables, and spices using wok techniques.Enjoy a delicious meal you’ve prepared and take home the recipes to recreate this dish anytime. What you need to know
- Our cooking classes in shared service are in English, if any passenger speaks only Spanish we recommend the cooking class in private service for your convenience.
- The service is provided only in English: 02:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Min 2 pax.
- Private Service: English or Spanish languages: 09:00 a.m. 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 12:00 p.m. US$. 149 per person.
- Rate not valid for high season and national holidays (ask for the price if applicable).
The schedules expressed are fixed and immovable. - Any cancellation or modification must be made up to 08 calendar days before the date and time of the service (subject to availability of spaces and dates) and no penalty will be applied.
Any cancellation or modification within 07 days prior to the date and time of the service will be subject to a penalty of 100% of the fee. - Traditional cooking classes in shared service are for people over 15 years old. For minors under that age we recommend the private class and the rate for minors is the same as for adults since being minors and as we work with knives and fire we require more attention, work and care than with an older passenger.
- Only for private service reservations we will pick up on foot the passengers that are in the hotels located within 5 blocks around our premises. Pick up will be 15 minutes before the start time of the experience.
