Day 1
Uros Taquile and Luquina
Pick up from hotels and transfer to the port of Puno, and starting by sailing to the Island of Taquile, a 3-hour visit to this natural island where we can appreciate a community that preserves ancestral customs (interpretation of icons from its fabrics, natural landscape). panoramic view and return along the traditional path.
We leave the port of Taquile at about noon, heading to the Chucuito peninsula, visiting the floating Uros islands on the way where we will learn about the origin of these islands and their lifestyle.
Then we will arrive to Luquina Chico peninsula , where we will have a buffet lunch. After lunch we will check in at the Aymara families’ houses, later walk along the shores of Lake Titicaca to appreciate local flora and fauna,
End your day appreciating the sunset.
Dinner with the host family with a cultural exchange.

Luquina
Local breakfast with the family.
Enjoy alternative activities in Luquina with their daily activities, like harvesting potatoes, go on walks around the town, or rent sailing boats directly from the community members, Kayaking in Lake Titicaca is also possible.
Before you return to Puno you will enjoy lunch
Return to Puno.

What you need to know
- Bring warm clothes and light clothing (the temperature changes very fast).
- Flashlight, sun hat, sunglasses, sun block, water bottle, rain gear (rainy season from October to March), hiking shoes.
- Money in soles S/ (very low exchange rate for dollars).
