Day 1

Full Day in Aconabikh

You will be picked up from your hotel in the morning to start the 26 km tour by car for about 45 minutes to reach our starting point in the Cordillera Escalera Regional Conservation Area is the Koepcke’s Hermit Bird Conservation and Biodiversity Association (ACONABIKH).

Reserve of 40 hectares of rainforest, ideal for observing and photographing birds and nature in the San Martín region. Bird watching can be done by walking the paths or trails of the reserve or observing the hummingbirds in their drinking troughs, among them the Koepcke Hermit, an endemic hummingbird of Peru and a species protected by the state.

Finishing this wonderful tour we will return to the city and take you to your hotel.

What you need to know

Children from 0 to 4 years old do not pay a fee (but food does not apply and travel in a skirt during the tours, maximum 01 child per family exonerated from the infant rate).
