Day 1
Half Day in Lamas
Pick up from your hotel at 03:00 p.m. for the guided tour to the Chanka Museum where you can see a collection of ceramics, textiles, mythology, worldview and representations of the main festivals and traditions of the Lamista people.
Then we will visit the famous Lamas Castle, a construction inspired by the European Medieval Castles and built with hand-molded natural stone.
Visit to the native Kechwa neighborhood “Wayku” which was founded in 1438 and which still preserves its ancestral customs as well as its language and clothing.
We will return to Tarapoto and you will be taken back to your hotel at approximately 7:00 PM.
