Day 1
Full Day in Chavín de Huantar
Pick up time 8:30 AM to 9:00 AM. – Return 6:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. approximately.
Departure from Huaraz to Chavin, we will make our first stop at the Querococha Lagoon at 3980 masl.
Querococha which is at 3980 meters above sea level from where we can appreciate the geological fault of the map of Peru.
Then we will cross the Cahuish Tunnel that has an altitude of 4450 masl.
4450 masl, continuing with the itinerary we will arrive to the Chavín de Huántar Archaeological Complex
where we will observe the ceremonial plazas, the Portada de las Falconidas, the underground galleries, the
subway galleries, the Lanzon Monolithic, the Cabezas Clavas and others.
After visiting the wonders of the archaeological complex we will have lunch in a tourist restaurant
restaurant in the town of Chavín, and finally after lunch we will return to the city of Huaraz.
