Day 1
Uros and Taquile
This excursion starts at 07:00 am. With the transfer from your hotel to the port of Puno where we will board the boat to visit the floating islands of the Uros which are located 30 minutes from the port of Puno, in the lake there are more than 50 small floating islands of which we will visit two, on the first island the tour guide will explain a little about the people who live on these floating islands, after the explanation you will have free time to walk around the island, to take some pictures and talk with the families of the island.
After your visit to the floating islands the tour continues to the island of Taquile which is located two and a half hours from the floating islands, upon arrival to the island Taquile we will make a walk which lasts about an hour and a half, the first part of this walk is uphill about 30 minutes and the second part is an hour, during this hike we will visit a local family where you will learn about Taquile and their people, we will also make a brief visit to the main square of the island where you can see and maybe buy the weavings of the island, the square will also be the highest point of this hike 3950 M. S.N.M.
After these visits we will return to Puno, the tour ends at 5:00 p.m. approximately.

What you need to know
- Bring warm clothes and light clothing (the temperature changes very fast).
- Flashlight, sun hat, sunglasses, sun block, water bottle, rain gear (rainy season from October to March), hiking shoes.
