Pick up at the Plaza de Armas or from your downtown hotels, and we go to the first point of visit the Mirador de los Volcanes, whose height offers a spectacular panoramic view of the Andean Apus venerated by the Incas, which today guard the White City: the Misti, Chachani, Pichu Pichu.
Then we will go to the Añashuayco Quarry, in this place we will be able to appreciate the immense volcanic stone cliffs that until today is in exploitation. We will be able to appreciate the beauty of the place as well as its different sculptures made by the quarrymen themselves.
Our next destination is the Quebrada de Culebrillas, an ashlar quarry that is still not in exploitation, located between the districts of Uchumayo and Cerro Colorado. A 20-minute walk will allow us to observe the enigmatic petroglyphs engraved on the walls of the ravine.
On the way back to the city we will observe the Apachetas, stone structures arranged in a conical structure on the banks of the Inca Trail, as an offering. These are considered by the locals an ancestral custom that provokes a mystical sensation.
