This tour begins at 13:45 hrs, we will take you from your hotel in our vehicle to the archaeological site of Sillustani, which is the largest pre-Inca and Inca cemetery, this place is located 30 minutes from Puno, the archaeological site of Sillustani was a cemetery, built in the thirteenth century by a civilization that occupied the area before the Inka domination. The creators of the imposing burial towers are known as Kolla people.
During the trip the guide will give you information about the area and its people, and when you arrive to Sillustani, you will start a hike that will normally last one hour, during this hike the guide will make some stops to explain how our ancestors the Kollas and Incas built those funerary towers, and also about the history of Sillustani, little by little we will arrive to the top of the place which is surrounded by a beautiful lagoon called Umayo lagoon, from the top you will have a spectacular view, there you will have some free time to take some pictures, walk around the place or meditate for some minutes in a magical and also energetic place.
After these visits we will return to the parking area to board the mobility and return to Puno, the tour usually ends at 5:30 pm.
