Itinerary
1
Day 1
Journey from Arequipa to Chivay
At 8:00 a.m. we pick you up from your hotel (2,325 m.) to go to the snowy Chachani Mountain in our transportation. We will see wild vicuñas, alpacas and llamas in the Pampa Cañahu National Reserve, as well as birds such as flamingos, ibis, Andean geese, ducks, eagles and Andean people called Kara Kara.
We will also visit the viewpoint of volcanoes and snowy mountains in Patapampa (4,800 m.).
Upon reaching Chivay (3,600 m.), the capital of the Colca Valley, we will have lunch (not included) and enjoy a free afternoon to relax or visit the hot springs (optional)
Overnight in Chivay.

Day 2
Colca Canyon Full Day
Early in the morning after breakfast (around 6:00 a.m.), we leave for a full day tour on the left side of the canyon and visit beautiful towns like Yanque and Maca with colonial churches and friendly people who are happy to show her traditional embroidered clothing. See hundreds of pre-Inca terraces that are still used for farming and Andean corn, quinoa, amaranth, and others.
After a two-hour drive, we arrived to La Cruz del Cóndor. Here we can see the depth of the canyon and the wonderful journey of the Condor. Free time to observe the condors and explore this viewpoint.
The Andean condor is the largest flying bird in the world by combined measurement of weight and wingspan. Hope you are lucky to see them and take some good pictures.
Then we return to Arequipa in the afternoon and we will take you to your hotel
